About Ag in the City

Ag in the City - Saskatoon is a two-day event located at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market. Held on Sept 11 and 12 this year, the goal is to show urbanites the role agriculture plays in all our lives – from food to non-food uses.

Sunday, September 11 is a day dedicated to learning more about various farm groups and products, having a breakfast of locally produced food, test one’s knowledge of agriculture and bid on pies and have a harvest picnic along the banks of the river.

Monday, September 12 is dedicated to kids, with exhibitors offering hands on displays, a goat rodeo and a kids cooking demonstration.

Regular Farmers’ Market vendors will be open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and food services will be available all day.

Agriculture in the City is your chance to explore the exciting world of agriculture!
